To thoroughly carry out the special action for patent transformation and utilization and tackle the shortage of professionals, the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province (JSIPO) held the “Double-Certificate Talents” Training Session for Patent Transformation and Utilization in Nanjing from August 7 to 9, aiming to train a group of professionals who have both the “National Technology Transfer Professional Competency Level Certificate” and the “Patent Attorney Qualification Certificate”.

It is the first “double-certificate talents” training course for patent transformation and utilization held by the JSIPO. More than 100 trainees participating in this training session are mainly practicing attorneys from patent agencies. This training session is offered in the combined form of training and examination. The trainees who attended the training and passed the examination will be awarded the Completion Certificate for National Technology Transfer Professional Competency Level Training (Junior Technology Broker).

This training session covers the common knowledge, laws and regulations and operation practices concerning technology transfer, as well as scientific and technological achievements evaluation, intellectual property operation, technology transfer system construction, etc. Through centralized teaching, special ability development, practical skills improvement, expert interaction and other means, it helps trainees to further raise their ideological awareness, enhance their service capabilities and leverage their professional expertise, thereby encouraging the patent transformation and utilization talent team to improve capabilities and efficiency. All trainees agreed that this training was informative, highly relevant and reasonably arranged, achieving the purpose of communication, learning, enlightenment and ability enhancement. All of them said that they would further gain a thorough understanding of the spirit of the important statements and instructions made by General Secretary Xi Jinping on IP protection and utilization by taking the opportunity of this training session, better serve the creation of high-value patents, and accelerate the transformation of patents into products and commodities to form new quality productive forces, thus making a positive contribution to the efficient implementation of the special action for patent transformation and utilization in Jiangsu.
