Recently, the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province (JSIPO) held a symposium on intellectual property (IP) services for listing of enterprises. A total of 12 participants were present at the event, including representatives from the intellectual property offices and financial affairs offices at provincial, municipal and county levels, as well as experts from some agencies, securities brokers, law firms and other service agencies in Nanjing and Suzhou, who had in-depth exchanges and discussions on IP services during the listing of enterprises.

The Industrial Promotion Division of the JSIPO and the Coordination Service Division of the Financial Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial CPPCC Committee separately introduced the performance of the province in relation to the delivery of IP services for listing of enterprises and the work on listing of enterprises. Suzhou Intellectual Property Office and Jiangyin Intellectual Property Office introduced the local practices and achievements in promoting IP services for listing of enterprises. During the exchange and discussion session, the delegates discussed a series of topics, including the demand of IP services for listing of enterprises, existing risks, and innovation of service models. The drafts of the Intellectual Property Checklist for Listing of Enterprises and the Reminder Letter on Intellectual Property for Listing of Enterprises were also discussed. The delegates said that joint efforts would be made to explore more effective service models in the next step to contribute to continuously optimizing the environment for listing of enterprises and promoting high-quality development of enterprises in Jiangsu.

In recent years, the JSIPO has vigorously promoted the IP services for listing of enterprises in conjunction with the Coordination Service Division of the Financial Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial CPPCC Committee to support the exploration and setup of a service mechanism for listing of enterprises in various places. At present, the IP services for listing of enterprises are offered in Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and other places, and “five ones” in-depth visit, “physical examination + training + topic” three-in-one and other service models have taken initial shape, providing legal, information, agency and other professional services to more than 300 listed companies and companies to be listed to help them prevent IP risks in the listing process.
