To implement the arrangements of the provincial Party committee and government for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control, support related sci-tech research, and promote the sharing of intellectual property (IP) data, Jiangsu launched a public IP service platform for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control on February 11.

The platform, which supports hierarchical navigation retrieval, classified browsing, and visualized analysis, features a thematic database with more than 300,000 entries on global patent literature concerning 151 virus prevention and control technologies that cover diagnosis, testing, therapeutic drugs, medical devices, vaccines, and other technical fields.

Next, Jiangsu Provincial Patent Information Service Center will further incorporate patent and trademark data of manufacturers of epidemic prevention and control supplies and analyze information worldwide on epidemic prevention and control, vaccines, and therapeutic drugs to support sci-tech research breakthroughs for epidemic prevention and control.
