On January 6, China (Jiangsu) Intellectual Property Protection Center (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangsu Protection Center") passed the pre-acceptance inspection of Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province (JSIPO). Relevant JSIPO officials, members of the expert panel, leaders of Jiangsu Protection Center, and heads of its various departments attended the acceptance meeting.
The expert panel listened to a report on the construction of Jiangsu Protection Center, reviewed relevant documents, and inspected functional areas (such as the pre-examination service windows, trial courts, multi-functional training rooms, computer rooms) and the office space. Jiangsu Protection Center passed the pre-acceptance with the unanimous approval of the experts who considered the center to be well up to the required standards for acceptance and operation and qualified in software and hardware and services with distinct characteristics.
The China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) approved the establishment of Jiangsu Protection Center in May 2021. The center is intended to facilitate rapid collaborative IP protection for the province's high-end equipment and new-type functional and structural material industries. Passing the pre-acceptance marks a key milestone in the development of the center. Next, the JSIPO will prepare for CNIPA's acceptance inspection. After it is put into operation, the center will focus on its primary responsibilities and services, strives to improve quality and efficiency, adheres to its public-welfare orientation, take services as its cornerstone, blaze new trails in a pioneering spirit, provide one-stop, across-the-chain IP services, and support Jiangsu's effort to take the lead in building a powerful intellectual property province.
