On the afternoon of January 23, 2026, the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province convened a seminar on the construction of a trusted data space for intellectual property. The meeting was presided over by Ding Lan, a member of the Leading Party Group and Deputy Director of the Office.

At the seminar, Jiangsu Data Group Co., Ltd. (JSDG) provided a detailed introduction to the background, connotation, relevant work progress within the province, and the planning for provincial-level hub construction concerning the trusted data space. Representatives from financial institutions, intellectual property service organizations, enterprises, etc. focused on the demands and potential application scenarios of intellectual property data, and provided suggestions regarding the construction of the trusted data space for intellectual property. Attendees compared notes on exploring the value of intellectual property data and developing innovative applications such as inclusive finance, precision services, and industry analysis. Moving forward, the Office will further clarify the concept of the trusted data space for intellectual property, define construction goals and pathways, promote the realization of the value of intellectual property data elements, and build the trusted data space for intellectual property into the core digital infrastructure driving the industrial technological innovation and high-quality development in Jiangsu.

The seminar was attended by representatives from the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Intellectual Property Protection Center, JSDG, financial institutions, intellectual property service organizations, and data operation and transaction enterprises.
